When it comes to obtaining homeowner’s insurance in the state of Florida, your insurance company may require a Four Point Inspection report. Our Four Point Inspection Service is designed to provide you with an overview of four critical components of your home: the roofing system, electrical system, plumbing system, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system.
WHAT’S INSPECTED?
Roofing System: We evaluate the condition of your roof, including the roofing materials, age, signs of deterioration, damage and we determine the life expectancy left in the roof.
Electrical System: We evaluate the electrical components of your home, including the main electrical panel, sub-panels, wiring, etc. We check for outdated wiring, overloaded circuits, improper installations, and any safety hazards to ensure your electrical system is functioning safely.
Plumbing System: The plumbing inspection includes an evaluation of water supply pipes, fixtures, water heaters and drains. We look for leaks, corrosion and any signs of plumbing problems that could lead to water damage within your home.
HVAC System: Our inspector will inspect the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure they are operating correctly. We check for functionality, age, leaks and water damage.
COMPREHENSIVE REPORTING
After completing the inspection, we provide you with a Citizens 4-Point Inspection report form outlining our findings, including any areas of concern, recommended repairs, and photographs to illustrate our observations. You send this report to your insurance company and they will make their own decision based on the information outlined in the report.
